Truck navigation devices are currently only of limited use due to a lack of information on restrictions, such as height and width restrictions. Under the management of the Rhine-Sieg Transport Association (VRS) and with the support of the NRW Ministry of Transport, the SEVAS platform was created. In SEVAS local authorities can enter traffic restrictions that are relevant for trucks. The compiled restrictions are openly accessible to truck navigation providers and logistics companies and can be used for truck routing. 

The LuF GUT evaluates the data quality of the SEVAS dataset and the processes associated with the acquisition and maintenance by the participating municipalities.
