The city of Lünen's existing Urban Mobility Plan (VEP) dates back to 1997. Over the recent years, substantial developments have taken place within Lünen and the district of Unna, resulting in changes to the traffic situation. The current state of traffic in Lünen calls for the consolidation, coordination, and further development of existing action concepts in urban traffic planning. As part of this project, the initial phase involves analyzing the study area, conducting data analysis, and providing technical support for the procurement process to commission a traffic model study for updating the Urban Mobility Plan.
